Jaisalmer Hostel Crowd is a place where backpackers and travelers from all over the world can find a home away from home, as well as a community of new friends. We’re honoured to host guests that come with an open heart and curious mind, eager to explore and embrace the treasures of Jaisalmer and the Thar Desert.
At Jaisalmer Hostel Crowd we are aware of tight travel budgets and large appetites for culture and adventure and we provide solutions that satisfy both.
Whether in one of our comfortable private rooms or our spacious social dormitories you can enjoy reading a book, practicing yoga, cooking a meal with friends or enjoying a drink watching the sunset in one of the most peaceful areas in town.
Enjoy one of our inexpensive and popular dorm rooms. We have several different options to suit your needs including a exclusive female-only dorm and several mixed bed dormitories of different sizes. All rooms come with private bathroom, plug points, reading lights and lockers for luggage storage.
Our rooftop is where the magic happens!
Our comfortable communal space on the rooftop of the hostel boasts beautiful views overlooking the Golden Fort, and is perfect for relaxing with a book, practicing yoga, enjoying a meal or having a drink with your new found friends.
Jaisalmer offers a variety of activities to suit everyone’s needs. Living in Jaisalmer and the surrounding area means we know the best places in the city and can recommend some hidden gems that you won’t get from other hostels!
We love gathering a group of friends together and heading out into the desert for a night under the stars either by 4×4 or the traditional camel ride. Cooking a meal by bonfire, dancing to traditional Rajasthani music and sharing these moments with other backpackers means you won’t forget Jaisalmer in a hurry!
We aim to make sure you get the most from your time in Jaisalmer and really enjoy the essence of our culture here in The Golden City.
Jaisalmer, a former medieval trading centre, is the living spirit of Western Rajasthan.
Located in the heart of the Thar Desert, the city stands out against the dry, arid landscape with its impressive fort. Known as the ‘Golden City’ for its distinguishable yellow sandstone architecture, Jaisalmer spills out from the sprawling hilltop citadel with its narrow streets and colourful markets.
Explore the palace and temples within the Old City Walls or head out into the Desert and discover the local life in a gypsy village.
Jaisalmer Hostel Crowd is such an amazing hostel, super clean, comfy, and the staff is super cool. The rooftop it's chill and have a nice view to the fort and the city. You feel like you're at your own home, and they treat you like family. Plus they provide a really nice free walking tour around the city and also you can do the Desert Safari (it's a must in Jaisalmer) and for a fair price. I totally recommend Jaisalmer Hostel Crowd.
This was my 4th time in jaisalmer n i stayed at this place for the first time which turned out sooo epic! Meer and anna are two wonderful and helpful people, u can cook your own food n the safari is cheap too. The rooftop is perfect and gives a nice view of fort. You can cook your own meals which makes it more affordable., Would stay here again without any second thoughts.
I intended to spend only one night in this hostel, thanks to the friendly staff and great vibes among the hostellers and the working people here I extended for 3 nights. Every day there is a different programme, walking tours or just super funny game nights. If you come here definitely check out the roof top view, it's the best place for a comfortable chill or just enjoy the view of the fort. If you already booked somewhere else just drop by and hang out with the crowd in this hostel, the walking tours are also free for people who dont stay here. Thanks for the lovely stay and hospitality.
